Will you make a flag that is not researchable?
We will make basic unmarked flags of any type, depot pattern or custom design but will not put Regimental ID or Battle honors on it if we cannot get documentation that was done originally. These flags can last for a long time and we are creating problems for future historians by making flags that have no basis in historical fact.

Will you research a flag for me?
Yes we will. There will be a 75.00 research fee for that service. If we cannot locate an image or secure an enlargement from historical collections we will notify you and there will be no charge.

There were several flags issued to this regiment. How do I choose which one?
This may be an aesthetic choice or one based on the time period the regiment in question used that flag. I know of several regiments from the upper midwest that used over 5 National Colors during a 3 year enlistment!!! Flags were sometimes just left plain. Most had at least the Regimental ID and quite a few added Battle Honors to the flags.

Will the paint fade over time?
Yes, somewhat. Speed of fading of any pigment is relative to exposure to direct sunlight.

Will you embroidure a flag?
Not at this time.
